1,700 m above the city! Three cable cars take you up to Innsbruck's highest vantage point, the Top of Innsbruck, in less than 30 minutes. Nordkettenbahnen consists of 3 sections - The Hungerburgbahn, Seegrubenbahn and Hafelekarbahn. The ride to the Top of Innsbruck starts at the Altstadt station in Innsbruck. The modern Hungerburgbahn takes you directly from the old town to the Hungerburg in just eight minutes, with the option of getting off at the Alpenzoo, which is particularly popular with families.From the Hungerburg, take the Seegrubenbahn cable car to the Seegrube, which serves as the starting point for the Ski area in winters & walking trail in summers.The Hafelekarbahn takes guests from the Seegrube to the Top of Innsbruck, the 2.034 m high Hafelekar.
