Tour Details

This tour takes us along the Danube Valley and includes a visit to the impressive Baroque Benedictine Abbey at Melk. This is a full day excursion to the magnificent Danube Valley, the 'Wachau' (listed Unesco World Cultural Heritage). We reach Melk for a visit of the impressive Baroque Benedictine Abbey, located high above the Danube. We then return to Vienna passing by the medieval village of Durnstein and the charming town of Krems. Tour ends at the Opera House.

Tour Inclusions

Transportation by coach, entrance and a guided tour of Melk Abbey. During winter months (27th October to 15th April) lunch is inclusive and during summer months (16th April to 26th October) a boat trip is included.

Cancellation

A 15% refund applies to completely untilized sightseeing (atleast 5 days prior to commencement of the tour).Within 5 days it is non refundable.

Note*: You could also start this tour at the Opera house. In this case you will be transferred by shuttle bus to the Suedtirolerplatz, where the tour commences. Departure of the shuttle bus from the Opera House will be 30 minutes before the tour starts. During winter months (29th October to 14th April) lunch is included, whereas during summer months (15th April to 28th October) a boat trip is included. to join the tour.
