Tour Details

Discover one of the most famous places of pilgrimage in the Catholic world - Medugorje, and the historical city of Mostar on this one-day tour from Dubrovnik! Without doubt one of the most well-known destinations, especially in the religious world, is the Bosnia and Herzegovina's town of Medjugorje. Pilgrims come here from all over the world to find spiritual peace of mind. This small town is located in the mountains between Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Dubrovnik (Croatia). Before 1981 Medjugorje, although beautiful, was just a small mountain village - that was until a group of children reported seeing visions of the Virgin Mary on a nearby hillside. Since that day the village has grown to a town and receives thousands of visitors every year. On this trip to Medugorje, you will also have the opportunity to visit Mostar - the city of contrasts, culture and excellent cuisine. The city, coined as the "melting pot of cultures", is divided by the Neretva River, as well as different cultures and religions. Mostar is a beautiful historical place to visit, where "east meets west" and where the life, past and present, is invigoratingly full of contrasts.
