Day 01: Lucerne

Arrival in Lucerne by train 2nd class from the Swiss border or airport. A stunning setting, world-famous sights, exciting modern architecture, endowed museums and much more make Lucerne a thrilling city to visit. Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 02: Lucerne - Mt. Titlis with Ice Flyer Chairlift

Enjoy a ride in the first revolving gondola to Mount Titlis at 3020 m/10’000 ft. In Lucerne you board the LSE-train to Engelberg. There a small gondola takes you up to the Trübsee. You continue your trip by another gondola to Stand. Finally the revolving gondola takes you up to Mount Titlis. For a spectacular, close-up insight into a glacier, you visit the glacier cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift. And get your thrills on the TITLIS Cliff Walk, a spectacular Suspension bridge. Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 03: Lucerne - Interlaken - Harder Kulm

Check out from the hotel and take train to Interlaken. Arrival in Interlaken by train and check in to your hotel. Later in the day, enjoy excursion to Harder Kulm. It takes less than 10 minutes to travel from Interlaken up to the Harder Kulm, Interlaken’s home mountain. Here, at 1322 m above sea level, you enjoy fabulous views of the Jungfrau Region with the Eiger, Monch & Jungfrau as well as Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. The Panorama restaurant and the Two Lakes Bridge vantage platform are among the main attractions on Harder Kulm. Overnight in Interlaken.

Day 04: Interlaken - Jungfraujoch

Excursion from Interlaken up to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. The highest railway station in Europe is located 3454 m/11’333 ft. Visitors gain access to a high-Alpine wonderland of ice, snow and rock, which they can admire from the viewing platforms on the Aletsch Glacier or in the Ice Palace . The railway journey to the Jungfraujoch is an experience which leads through the Eiger and the Mönch. Overnight in Interlaken.

Day 05: Interlaken - Zermatt - Gornergrat

Check out and take train to Zermatt. Arrive and keep your luggage in the hotel. With its sunny observation platform accessible all year, the Gornergrat, at an altitude of 3,089 m, has been one of Switzerland’s top excursion destinations since 1898. The Gornergrat Bahn was the world’s first fully electrified cog railway. Board the cogwheel railway up to the Gornergrat, with views of the majestic Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and other spectacular summits. Overnight in Zermatt.

Day 06: Zermatt - Eggishorn, Aletsch Arena

Day trip to Aletsch Arena region. Take a direct train from Zermatt to Fiesch, the main station in Aletsch Arena, take the cable car to the Eggishorn Mountain at 2,869 metres and get to enjoy the first spectacular 360o panorama of the Aletsch Arena and its mountains. Spend good 3 - 4 hours in the lap of nature and then return back to Zermatt. Overnight in Zermatt.

Day 07: Zermatt - Glacier Express - Chur - Zurich

Check out from the hotel and board the Glacier Express train which is one of the greatest train journeys in the world. You travel from Zermatt to Chur. An 5.5hrs railway journey across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels and across the Oberalp Pass at 2033 metres in altitude. Travel in comfort through the unspoilt natural beauty of a landscape rich in ancient fragrant mountain forests, peaceful Alpine meadows, rushing mountain streams and mountain valleys, soaked in tradition and centuries-old culture. De-board the train at Chur and take train to Zurich. Arrive and check in to your hotel in the evening. Overnight in Zurich.

Day 08: End of Tour

Return to any Swiss border or Swiss airport or continue your stay in Switzerland on your own.
