Benefits of Eurail One Country Pass

A Eurail One Country Pass for Ireland is valid in both the Republic of Ireland and in Northern Ireland. A valid Eurail One Country Pass for Ireland can be used on all train services run by Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail, the national railway company of the Republic of Ireland, including Dublin Area Rapid Transport (DART) and with Translink NI Railways, the national railway company of Northern Ireland.

General Conditions:

• Exclusive of Transaction fee
• The Youth Pass is valid for individuals under 28 yrs on first date of travel.
• Children under 12 years travel free, if accompanied by at least one parent who is in possession of a valid Pass
• Passes must be validated within 11 months of date of issue
• Passes must be validated prior to first train journey / first use of bonus by a railway official in Europe (station’s desk) who also fills in the passport number
• Flexipass: the date of travel has to be entered in the correct way before boarding the first train/ship, by the traveller, in the corresponding box of the calendar

Cancellation / Refund:

• Eurail One Country Passes must be presented for refund unused and not validated
• A 85% refund applies to totally unused passes returned within one year of issuing date
• Eurail One Country Passes are not refundable and cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or partially used
